Henbury Hill: Cavity wall insulation

Many of the end-walls of the blocks of four townhouses have had thier cavities filled, with mixed results. Problems have occured in some (but not all) homes that have had the West facing wall cavities filled. The homes in which the East facing cavities have been filled seem to have fewer problems. Some owners have used alternative methods of internal insulation on the side walls.

Instead, he mounted insulation internally in the form of wooden cladding, which also creates an attractive finish to the wall.
